JAKE & ALEX

It’s hard to know where to start with Jake and Alex’s beautiful Greek island wedding. This was my first wedding shoot abroad and it was an absolute pleasure to be involved with a wedding where you feel more like guest than just a photographer - I’ve shot at a couple of weddings which Jake and Alex have been guests at (Ben & Naomi, Chloe & Jamie - you guys rock) so there were quite a few familiar faces!

When you book your wedding on a remote greek island you are within your rights to expect unbroken sunshine and clear blue skies. Unfortunately for Jake and Alex what we got was possibly the most torrential rain I’ve ever seen at a wedding. Luckily for us, it happened to coincide with the trip back from the island, when we were on a (relatively) watertight boat! But did Jake and Alex let it bother them? Not at all! They got back, dried themselves off, got stuck in to some amazing greek food and then partied outside (and on top of the tables) until the wee hours of the morning, at which point, everyone stripped off and dived in the sea!

And to make the most of the Greek hospitality, what did they do the next day? Got up, hit the beach and partied just as hard - clubbing until 4 in the morning!
