JOE & RACHEL

I live relatively close to Olney, a beautiful old market town in Buckinghamshire, and had visited a few times. I also knew from the Vicar that married myself and my wife, that it was here that the song “Amazing Grace” was written. Joe’s family have lived in Olney his whole life and it is where Joe and Rachel now live, so it was only natural for them to get married there. This meant that everything was within walking distance - bridal and groom prep, the church and the reception venue - but that didn’t stop Rachel hitching a ride to the church in an Aston Martin . A pretty cool way to get to your wedding!

After the ceremony in Olney church, a pretty spectacular venue, it was a short stroll back to the Cherry Tree bar and restaurant. Rachel and Joe were looking for local venues and thought they’d ask their favourite local restaurant if they’d be able to do the reception. Remarkably, it was the first wedding they’d ever done. Rachel and Joe used the opportunity to put their own stamp on the venue, with a lot of help from friends and family, and it looked amazing.

After the meal, the best man regaled the crowd with one of the best speeches I’ve heard (and I’ve heard a lot!) before everyone hit the bar and the dancefloor and party truly got started.

Here’s some of my favourites guys x
