ESME & OLI

When I first met Oli and Esme, they mentioned to me that their wedding was due to take place during the rugby world cup semi final. Who knew that it would be one of the games of the tournament? As an avid rugby and England fan I was initially pretty gutted not to be able to watch it from the comfort of my own home but that was eased somewhat by the fact that Oli had organised the wedding breakfast to take place in a local pub screening the match. Not a bad way to start the day!

Aside from the Rugby these guys knew how to organise a fantastic day, Walcot Hall is one of the most quirky, stunning and photogenic venues that I’ve had the pleasure of working at … the colour of the ballroom is awesome! The fact that it rained (a lot!) didn’t have any impact on how much these guys enjoyed their day. They beamed from ear to ear from start to finish which made the day a complete pleasure to capture. Combine this with a super fun group of friends and family and it truly was a day to remember.

From a motorbike owned by David Bowie’s gardener (courtesy of Esme’s dad ) to the (un)organised chaos of a drunken Ceilidh …. it was a blast.
